Benchmade Griptilian Scales - Legacy Series - Raw Aluminum - Stonewash Finish
You asked and we delivered! The DIY Griptilian replacement scale is a raw aluminum handle with a stonewashed finish. These are everything you would expect from AWT without the Type III hard coat anodize we usually offer. Starting with the thickness of the grips, these replacement scales are thinner than the original OEM Benchmade scales, reducing the overall thickness from 0.650" down to 0.520". They are precision milled from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and offered in a variety of carry options, making them the perfect DIY anodizing project. Each kit comes with 2 grip panels, 1 backspacer, and all necessary hardware (pivot assembly is reused from your existing knife).
Like everything else here at AWT, the grips are backed by our Lifetime Warranty. You break it and we replace it at no cost to you. We will not, however, cover damage that may result from your DIY anodizing.
