Benchmade Mini Freek Scales – Archon Series – Contoured - Anodized
Give your Benchmade Mini Freek the full AWT treatment with our Archon Scales. We took everything you've come to expect from AWT and brought it to the Mini Freek—aggressive styling, comfortable contours, and the signature chamfers you've come to love.
Machined from 6061 aluminum, these scales feature our Archon milling pattern and a fully contoured profile for a comfortable, substantial feel in the hand without unnecessary bulk.
Each set also includes an AWT backspacer designed for our scales and make most Benchmade Mini Freek models compatible, along with the additional hardware needed for installation.

Included Hardware & Installation Notes
Each set includes four screws to assist with assembly:
- 2 longer screws – Used to secure the backspacer
- 2 shorter screws – Used in the body of the knife
IMPORTANT – PIVOT WASHERS: Two metal washers are included and must be installed on the pivot, one on each side of the knife.
These washers do NOT install inside the knife with the factory blade washers. They are installed on the outside of the AWT scales, directly under the pivot screws—one washer on each side.
These washers are required for proper assembly. Without them, the pivot will bottom out before it can be fully tightened.
Be sure both outside pivot washers are installed before making final adjustments to the pivot and knife action.
Like everything else here at AWT, these grips are backed by our Lifetime Warranty. Here's the Warranty Nitty-Gritty - We guarantee our products to be free from manufacturing defects. This warranty does not include issues that arise due to improper installation including but not limited to over tightening pivot screws that damage the D-shape slot for pivots, stripped threads, broken off screws, etc. Screws do not need to be torqued down like you are tightening the head bolts on your 1970s American muscle car.
Type III Hardcoat Anodized Colors - Black, Sniper Grey, OD Green, Flat Dark Earth, Brick Red, Billiard Blue
Type II Anodized Colors - Cobalt Blue, Weathered Red
You buy Type III hard coat for toughness not perfect color matching. If you want colors to be exact, please purchase Cerakote. Due to the nature of the anodizing process, slight cosmetic variations such as minor color differences, mottling, visible grain, or small rack/contact marks, and small spots are normal and expected. This is normal and in NO way affects the performance or function of the grips whatsoever. We feel that it is a worthy tradeoff for a vastly superior coating hardness. The Type III coating we use is incredibly hard (harder than steel actually) and is the MOST durable coating available on the market.
