We’re excited to release one we’ve wanted to do for a long time — AWT scales for the Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight.

These scales are precision machined from 6061 aluminum and feature our aggressive Agent milling pattern combined with our popular Skinny cut for a slimmer, more comfortable carry.

Designed and manufactured right here in Texas, these scales transform the PM2 Lightweight into a more solid, premium feeling knife while keeping the weight extremely low.

The scales are heavily pocketed on the inside to minimize weight. The stock Para Military 2 Lightweight weighs 2.77 oz, and the knife with our aluminum scales comes in at just 2.87 oz, adding only about 0.10 oz.

These scales are designed to accept blades from other Para Military 2 models, giving you additional flexibility if you’re building a custom setup.

We also made a few hardware changes for this design. Because of that, assembly requires the included hardware.

Each set includes, black or silver your choice:

• (2) Standoffs

• (4) Handle screws

To keep the design clean and simple, the lanyard hole has been eliminated on this model.

As with everything else at AWT, these scales are machined from 6061 aluminum to incredible standards. Once machined, they get tumbled, cleaned, blasted, and Cerakoted to one of many colors. Please keep in mind that Cerakote is a ceramic paint, albeit tough, isn't indestructible. This coating will wear over time on hard edges and will develop a nice distressed/worn look over time.

Color names were derived from the Cerakote website. Cobalt, Gunmetal Grey, Burnt Bronze, Charcoal Green, Squatch Green, Blue Titanium, Cobalt Kinetics Green, Rose Gold, Tequila Sunrise, and Sunflower are all classified as metallic colors.

Like everything else here at AWT, these grips are backed by our Lifetime Warranty. Here's the Warranty Nitty-Gritty - We guarantee our products to be free from manufacturing defects. This warranty does not include issues that arise due to improper installation including but not limited to over tightening pivot screws that damage the D-shape slot for pivots, stripped threads, broken off screws, etc. Screws do not need to be torqued down like you are tightening the head bolts on your 1970s American muscle car.
