Say hello to the next evolution of AWT grips, the Hive pattern. Machined directly into the 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, the Hive pattern gives your Griptilian a stand out look while adding even more texture for a sure grip. These handsome grip kits will transform your knife into everything you'd expect from a hard working cutting tool. They are tough as nails yet elegant and refined. Once you get your hand wrapped around a set, everything else will feel like a toy. They are available in several different colors and like our chassis they are machined to incredible standards from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and are then Mil-Spec Type-III hard coat anodized. These grips are also much thinner than the original grips reducing the overall thickness of the knife from .650" down to .520" on the full size griptilian and from .515" down to .440" on the mini grip. Give them a try, we guarantee you wont be disappointed. Each kit comes with 2 grip panels, 1 backspacer, and all necessary hardware.

(NOTE: Benchmade factory pocket clip screws are a T6 head, our shorter replacement screws are a T7 head. Attempting to tighten our pocket clip screws with a T6 driver will strip out the screw heads.)

*NOTE, we do not have or sell the deep carry pocket clips seen in some of the pictures. You will need to contact Benchmade directly to request one.*

Due to the nature of Type III Hardcoat anodizing there may be slight color variations from batch to batch or side to side. Sometimes there may also be some light mottling in the color, or the grain of the aluminum may show through the coating. This is normal and in NO way affects the performance or function of the grips whatsoever. We feel that it is a worthy trade off for a vastly superior coating hardness. The Type III coating we use is incredible hard (harder than steel actually) and is the MOST durable coating available on the market.
